This course will teach you how to program in the powerful and efficient C++ programming language. No previous experience of programming is needed.
It takes a completely different approach from other courses as it starts from first principles and teaches C++ from the outset. The course is based around the most modern features of the language, which make it easier to learn.
The course is fairly thorough; it is designed to give a good understanding of the language. It does not attempt to teach everything in a single course, as C++ is far too big for that, but it does cover more than enough to get you started with C++ programming and lays the foundation for learning the more advanced features of the language.
I would expect most students to take around two months to complete the course, based on watching one or two lectures a day and doing all the exercises for those lectures. Obviously, if you can devote more time to it and are able to absorb the material quickly, you could go much faster, although I don’t recommend rushing.
